1/4 scale General Grievous concept model for an imaginary Star Wars spin-off film. Initial sketches were imported and developed in Rhino 8, with organic elements sculpted in ZBrush before being integrated into the final CAD model. The majority of the build was FDM printed using a 0.2 nozzle, then sanded, primed, and finished to a paint-ready standard.

The project includes moulding and casting processes, including a clear green epoxy resin “organ tank” encapsulating a ZBrush print and a poseable silicone neck. Internal welded steel rods provide structural support throughout the body and base. Wired LED lightsabers run through the cape into a concealed 3V battery housed in the base.

The model is fully modular for transport and assembly. All detailing was hand painted; the metallic segments were created using layered iron paste and weathering techniques, while the cream armour elements were finished using spray paint.
