About Me
I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Brighton & Hove, where my passion for creativity and design began at an early age. As a child, I found an outlet for my imagination through model making and building, spending countless hours crafting everything from Spitfires and Sherman tanks alongside my grandfather, who first inspired my love of creating.
That early fascination soon evolved into a deeper passion for design. LEGO became more than just a toy — I began creating my own original builds rather than following instructions — and later I immersed myself in the world of Warhammer, developing both artistic and technical skills through miniature painting, sculpting, and world-building.
By my late teens, I was eager to take that passion further. During my Art Foundation year, I was encouraged to push my imagination and creativity to new levels, leading me into the world of model design and making professionally. Around this time, I gained invaluable work experience with Spitting Image at Avalon Studios and spent time behind the scenes at Mackinnon & Saunders. It was there that I truly realised I had found my path.
I later went on to study at the University of Hertfordshire on the undergraduate model design course, where my enthusiasm for model making and special effects continued to grow. During my degree, I was fortunate to gain work experience with FBFX before progressing to work within the modelmaking department at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, contributing to the production of a major upcoming science-fiction film.
For me, model making has always been more than just a craft — it’s a way of bringing imagination to life. Whether designing miniatures, props, creatures, or large-scale cinematic pieces, I’m driven by a passion for detail, storytelling, and creating worlds that feel real.
